Lead the market

Our strategy is to lead the market by scale. We will work with content owners to create subscription plans and pay-per-use schemes so that we can grow the consumer base rapidly. We will work with device manufacturers to create special (Mango branded) players that can run Mango's software for pay-per-use monetisation

The Total Available Market (TAM) in India for digital content is 300 Million consumers by 2012. At an ARPU of Rs 100 per month (music, movies and videos), the market size is Rs 360 billion. Our goal is to take advantage of our thought leadership and pioneering position and achieve 20% share. The market will soon have 5-10 large players and numerous small players. We would like to remain No. 1 and set an example for others to follow.

As we grow, we will remain nuetral and open, to all sources of content and to all makes and forms of devices and media.

It is possible to provide a wide variety of digital content (from music to movies) to every interested consumer for Rs 5 per day and help the Indian content industry grow many times its present size. Piracy can be completely eliminated by building a secure digital network from source to consumption. We have an important role to play in making this possible.
